Test Blog Entry

It looks like blog entries are the replacement for the forums we used to have.  If you are signed in, you can click 'Post' above right, then choose 'Blog'.  The editor doesn't look bad.

You can add images easily.

You can add a link to an existing photo album. Here's the album this picture came from.

  1. A test to see if I can place HTML code in a comment.

    Well what do you know...

I copied this image out of the blog editor. There is an HTML check box on the upper right of the blog editor. I located the code. Copy and paste and Woo!

  5. Hi gang, I am feeling sortof overwhelmed, kindof like me trying to take on building a Concordia yacht replica... I think I get the "blog" posting. Do I have to fill in user contacts every time I want to "post" something or is it automatic? Is there a privacy level we are supposed to operate at or are we all public information or what (not that I care...) . Anyway, this site looks great, I will be spending some time today educating myself on its many aspects.

Thanks Kruez for the great job!

  6. Hi Andy,

Good to have you back, at least half of us are feeling a bit overwhelmed, there are a lot of new features to get used to, When your post within the group you post goes out to the group. If you do not want your post to go out in email, you can un-check the box under the compose. So mostly it's automatic. If you want to send a personal message to someone, you can use the "PM" post and then put in the multiply ID of that person.

There is a method for posting items that only group members can view, however, I have that functionality turned off for now. It's part of the overwhelming factor. If yous all want to be able to post that way, I will turn it on. At the moment, we are all public.

I am glad you like the site and we all look forward to your posts. The only "weird thing" about posting, is the photo insert tool in the compose. Once you insert a photo, it drops it at the top of the page, than drag to the line you want it to start at, "word wrap" will then be automatic. Cool but it took me a minute to figure out how to do it right,

You've got a current project you can post for us don't you?

    Thanks, Kruez
