RJ - Looking great! If you are going to "test drive" her tomorrow you can prep for a waterline at the same time. With you or family on board make pencil marks or otherwise note where she sets in the water. When you get home, select an average line and with the piro level on the floor, you can mount a pencil on a block of 2x4 at the appropriate height and run her all around the outside of the hull. You can then paint a contrasting color for the waterline. This is all assuming you want to of course. Best of luck tomorrow... Andy
Hi RJ, the boat looks great. Good luck. I'm jealous. I'm about a month or more away from launching the Flapjack. I'm anxious to know how yours goes. Winks

ReplyDeleteGreat looking project! The only thing more fun than building a boat is messing around in it. Have fun on the water.
ReplyDeleteA fine job, you should be proud. Have a great summer on your favorite lake! Will
