Tugboat Progress

My first 2-part poly paint. This is the first coat. It's even shinier now with 3 coats ;-)

Some random recent pictures, taken over the past few months. I'm aiming for a launch in November, but who knows? I'm now 14 months past my initial launch date estimate! It's been really fun, but a lot harder and more expensive than I expected.

Devlin boat detail pictures

I took a bunch of detail photos of Sam Devlin boats when I was in Olympia last month. Would any of you be interested in having me make an album of some of them? What details are you interested in? I know I look at different things as my building project continues.

On kind of a related topic, I've got a bunch of photos of tug boats if you're interested:

Hi all. Building Devlin's Godzilla 25

I added some build pictures of the progress so far. I've had a lot of fun building it, although I'm two months behind on my self-imposed schedule. Here's my blog address: http://boatbuild.wordpress.com/

I'm looking for pictures of other Godzilla's, either the 22 or the 25, other than the ones on Devlin's site. Anyone have some? Shots of other small tug-style boats would be appreciated too.

Godzilli Harbor Tug

For those of you that have been following the Godzilli Tug build, I finally updated it on the web at  http://www.devlinboat.com/constructiongodzilli.htm .

Tug Travails

This was sent to me by a boating friend. Awsome pictures! If I had been the Captain I would have entertained the thought of changing professions.
