Are you kidding? The pictures are awesome. Are you building the Gentleman's racer? Would love to do a page on that. Where are the plan's from? I have seen that Century Thunderbolt picture several times (the one with the guy boarding her). Did it get printed in a mag? I fell in love with a Gar Wood Gentleman's Speedster one year at the local ACBS Indiana Show a show here in Indy. The "MissConduct" I beleave. It was for sale from Antique Boat Connection for $90,000 I think. Lot's of history in those Speedsters. You have enough pics of Speedsters to do a page on them alone. Do you have more info on those pics? Can you edit the discriptions in the photo album? You have some additional photos in the portcarlingboats.com Photo Album as well. They are great pics... Thanks for the uploads... -Kruez-
Hey PC, Where did you purchase the plans for your Gentleman's Racer? How do you feel about the quality of the plans? I fell in love with a Gar Wood Gentlemans Speedster at a show a few years back. Been wanting one every since. Not in the market just yet. Still curious... Oh by the way, you made the pic of the month slot... It must be nice living up there near Muskoka waters and all those classic boats. Great pics, keep them coming. -Kruez-
The boat is a Glen L cracker box, plans are available from the site, boat is planked with a custom hood scoop for covering the engine. Great people at Glen L for ordering parts and info, timely and cost efficient delivery. Love the boats in Muskoka, and hope people will vist my web site as well, www.portcarlingboats.com Canada's most frequently visited wooden boat site, Neil
So any feedback on the pictures ect?
