A few construction pictures of my Cedar Strip 14' Cosine Wherry
rowing boat. It took me 398 hours to complete.
Getting started. Showing the forms and strongback.
Planing, sanding, gluing & clamping.
Closing her up.
Sanded, Faired, 1st coat of resin. Showing her colors.
Glueing on the gunwales. Ever seen so many Clamps?
My favorite picture, wife and boat.
This picture was taken in Depoe Bay, Oregon at the
2002 Wooden Boat Show.

This is Will's page that was lost in the migration somehow. I've recreated it here. It's also a good example of how anybody can post project updates as content to share. Also, notice the Tags "wherry". Click the tag; and every content item that has been tagged will be indexed on a new page. We couldn't do that on MSN...

That's a great looking boat!
ReplyDeleteIt is indeed. I bet it's fun to row. It looks like it would trak nicely in the water. Hey Will is there a skeg or short keel on this boat?
ReplyDeleteYes, it does have a keel and skeg with a piece of brass half round attached as a rub shoe.
