These pictures are of a small motor launch which was originally build by my last boss (C. H. Fox's & Son Ltd.) back in 1964 when the company were known for building high quaility wooden motor boats and yachts, before I started my own boat building and repair business.

ReplyDeleteLooks like you are doing some quality work on a beautiful little boat. What type of wood are you using for the planks? Mahogany, Cedar, ....? I have never tried lapstrake planking before but have tentative plans on the next boat... Thanks for sharing the photos - keep them coming Andy
