Now the time of year to think about getting your boating refit job list started

Now is the time to dusk of the cobwebs and look at your list of jobs to do on the boat to get it ready for the spring. As with many lists they are long, with big ideas and hopes. In the real world they will become short and sweet. Many of the jobs appear at first to be easy but then doing them causes many a headache. I have had my fair share of them in the past. This year the list is quiet short just about a dozen jobs. Unlike last year when the job list was about 40 or so jobs.

This year’s list is just a few finishing off jobs like fit a few shelfs in the galley area, fit a lid to the chain locker in the bow, make and fit a custom water tank, get some more ballast to bring the boat down to it’s lines. Sort out the cockpit floor and refit the rubbing stakes and sort the mast out and the running backstays.

So all in all not a bad list to get done by Easter.

Then finally make a new fore hatch.
