Greensboro, NC, USA. I'm in NASCAR country but I've always liked watching the open-wheel cars more. Grew up in Wisconsin so maybe that's why. Many a Memorial day do I remember fishing on Lake Winnebago and listening to race. "Stay tuned for the greatest spectical in sports"
I'm an organ transplant from the Seattle, Washington region (Port Townsend) where it was Hydroplanes (no wheels but lotsa motor) and Duckdodges (sailboat races-only rule...don't hit a duck) - To; Wichita, Kansas - where there are NONE OF THE ABOVE ...lol
Oshkosh, WI Here! Been too busy lately, and wanting to get back to work on the Carver!!
Speaking of too busy.......Anyone interested in a 16 foot '61 Cruiser? She needs the keel resealed, and a new wiring harness for the motor, but she ran great when we stored her a couple of years ago! Hate for her to sit and not get used and loved anymore!
Stephen from the city of sails (Auckland, New Zealand) the would be capital of New Zealand. My stomping ground is mainly the Thames coast on the east coast just below Auckland. Oh and partly the Gulf Harbour.
Northern Minnesota, "Land of Ten Thousand Lakes" Country song "Betty's Got a Bass Boat" comes to mind sometimes. You should have seen the boat landings on fishing opener last weekend! Carl
