Like lots of small boatyards it is a time of year for long hours & not a lot of spare time as people want their boats back in the water so they can enjoy their boats after a cold & frosty winter. My boatyard is know different. Owner's saying when my boat going to be ready, will it be in the water by the weekend, as that bit of new equipment been fitted to the boat. The same chorus every year, as usually some how we get there in the end hopefully.
This year with the Olympic Games being in London & the Queen's Diamond Jubilee people appear to be go wanting to enjoy themselves after the past few years of economical hell. So it time again the paint & varnish brushes out and don the overalls and get the bottom of the boats anti-fouled and go for a sail.
So time for me to put the pen down and go and get the boats ready for the new season.
